The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage set retains full playability with this light kit assembled. Rotate the brick-built water wheel and watch the plume of pink smoke puff out of the chimney, with a spellbound glow cast by a Large Pink Bit Light.

Ein tolles Lichtset für eine grandiose Atmosphäre auch gerade zu Halloween.
The lights are must with this set. It elevates it and make it feel real. All the details are brought out and you can truly appreciate the complexity of the set. The lighting makes this set a full on Halloween decoration.

This was my second LMB kit (read my first review on the Haunted House set) and I was pretty disappointed compared to the first light kit I installed. I waited for this kit to come out because I felt like it lit the right areas of the cottage, compared to other kits out there that just had lights all over. I knew install would be hard because of the size of the set, so have some patience as you work in confined areas. I think a change to the wire routing is needed, as these sets all rely on the basic understanding that you have to know where the wires lie in relationship to the studs so that you do not accidentally pinch or sever a wire. My first hurdle came when I severed the wire from the chandelier while putting bricks back in place near the cauldron. Luckily, I had an extra cable from my first set and could pull things apart and route a new cable. At this point in the build, you move to the under side of the cottage and have to route numerous wires to the front of the cottage, all in between bricks. This is a difficult task to ensure you're not pinching the wires between studs and became frustrating. On the front porch, the wires oddly tuck between the porch and the house, creating a bit of bad connection between the two that doesn't really feel stable. By now I had already made my decision that the fit and finish on this set, compared to my previous set, just wasn't as good. Before I make any other LMB purchases, I'll read through the install steps a bit closer…
