Wow! These lights are just amazing. It's like Lego sets need light kits from LMB for the finishing touches. I don't follow by Lego rules and doesn't change with these light kits. I like to 'tweek' things for my liking. So, with this set I have decided to omit the light above the doors on the inside due to being way too bright and that way the doors can still be opened if needed. I also didn't like the 2 bright lights for the Service sign so put them 'inside' but they are not bright enough to shine through, doesn't matter cause I don't think they are needed in my opinion. I also added extra blocking pieces to both front stage lights to help reduce light shine. One thing that I wish was different is that flickering lights in the corner to not all flicker at the same time. I don't know if using multiple outs on the flicker board will help but may try that idea. (I'll update my findings :) )

Beautiful effect
As a total beginner to LMB kits, I'm very impressed with the kit and the clear care that's been taken in creating the detailed instructions.
A really effective and appropriate addition to this Friends set which has 'lights' which were begging to really be lit!
The flickering lamp is particularly impressive and fun.
The only tiny criticism is the front doors can't be opened any more due to the thickness of the inside strip light.
However, the very nature of fitting out your build with delicate wiring and so on obviously means playability is automatically somewhat affected.
In saying that, that's really the only impact on the functions of the existing set I've noticed.

I recommend this set, to get started in Lego lighting. It is not very complicated since it does not have many lights and the final result is very decorative.
