In den Filmen der 80er ist Ecto-1 eine 1959 von Ray Stantz gekaufte Kombination aus Cadillac-Krankenwagen und Leichenwagen. Nach einer umfangreichen Runde von Reparaturen und Upgrades wird das Fahrzeug verwendet, um die Ghostbusters durch New York City zu transportieren und die paranormalen und unerklärlichen Phänomene zu jagen.
Als LEGO Ideas veröffentlicht, ist Ecto-1 ein fantastisches Set, das sicher schöne Erinnerungen an die Kindergeneration der 80er wecken wird. Begleite Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler und Winston Zeddemore bei ihren gruseligen (und verrückten) Abenteuern.

A couple of the connectors were broken when I got the kit. An email to customer services and problem sorted, some replacement wire are on the way to me. I started it anyway, just haven't connected the flashing lights at the front but it will be easy enough to connect when replacements arrive. I found it quite fiddly at first to plug connectors in, but once I got used to them it got easier, I've worn my glasses more in the last few day than I have in the last 2 years! It was quite challenging in places but never too hard. When I first completed it, the remote wouldn't operate the lights, just the sound. So I unconnected everything and spent a good 10 hours reconnecting everything, it was worth it, the results are amazing, it just takes the ecto 1 to another level.
The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is because I have the other eco-1 kit where the lights actually rotate!
