Our kit is the perfect addition to complement this enormous throwback LEGO set, with 28 individual LEDs that will allow you to illuminate all the retro details originally dreamt up by LEGO back in 1978! Our range of Yellow, Orange and Warm White Bit Lights provide the perfect tint for flames, candles and fireplaces - which light up the interior castle walls in a realistic flickering, crackling, animated fashion, thanks to four of our Flicker Effects Boards.
This monstrous castle has been built to play with, just like the original LEGO sets upon which it?s based - our light kit assembly ensures full functionality and playability once installed, thanks to our easy-to-follow instructions! Access all the fun-filled elements such as trapdoors, draw bridges, moving walls and secret passages with ease.
This kit features a range of brick elements to build several Spotlights to shine upon the towering castle walls! Sound the trumpets and raise the flags! The Lion Knights are in for a fight - better provide them with some light!
Light My Bricks LEGO Lighting Kits provide an easy way for LEGO fans to customize their models using LED lights. With detailed, step-by-step instructions, anyone can light up their LEGO set. All our kits are plug and play - no electronics knowledge needed!

We recommend lighting this kit by a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor (to connect to a mains outlet), which is NOT included in this kit. If you do not have a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor, you can purchase them from our Powering section.

Really cool, brings the castle to life
The castle looks amazing with light filling its corridors.
One issue with this kit is that the wires are routed through areas that prevent the castle's hinges from closing all the way.
Another issue was that a few of the wires were too short to do the methods shown. Even with pulling the cables as tight as possible they were still an inch shy of the mark.
Lastly there were issues of putting wires into spaces too small for my hands to go. I do have very large hands but the task seemed impossible without the use of needle nose pliers.
All in all it is a very nice kit that makes the castle look fantastic, just a bit of process to assemble.

Massive collection
Better late than never
I liked the kit with a minor exception about the outside “spotlight” like installations. I followed only two of the suggestions, the blue light under the ramp and drawbridge and the “beehive.” The rest of the outside lights didn’t quite work for me. I know, I know, I should’ve left the beehive alone as well. To make up for that, I absolutely loved the interior lights and lighting the torches. Since the castle has two distinct parts, I separated the lighting by using a USB power cable for each and avoiding having use and to hide another cable.
